Leading
Custom Fabrication Centers Now SCOKJ® Qualified - Horton
Technology, Inc. is pleased to announce that 8 leading centers specializing
in custom-made orthoses are now Qualified to fabricate all types of Horton's
SCOKJ®. Freedom Fabrication, Oregon Orthotic Systems and Scott
Orthotic Labs, recently attended a special advanced training course in Little
Rock, AR to become Qualified to provide all types of weight-activated and
motion-activated SCOKJ’s®, in addition to those already qualified. Due
to the increased clinical utilization of Horton's SCOKJ®, first released in
January of 2002, Horton Technology, Inc. found it increasingly difficult to keep
up with the growing demand for central fabrication services for this KAFO
system, which allows many people with knee paralysis to walk with a more normal
gait pattern than the historic locked-knee braces of the past. The
addition of these newly Qualified centers means that the hundreds of SCOKJ®
Qualified practitioners in the US, Canada, and Mexico now have the option of
obtaining central fabrication services for the innovative and unique SCOKJ®
from coast to coast. Click here
